Author's NOTE: YAY! My first story with The Sims 3! Please read if you have the time. Don't just pass! Hey! ;)
Okay... so "Burning Cold" is the name I created for my sims stories that are involved with supernatural romances. (I have different characters for each story) And you could say that "His Own Tales" is just one of the story collections in "Burning Cold" series. This is an AU. And I created names for the places as well as the characters. There will be flashbacks too. So I guess I would post a picture of the map, and the timeline….

My only son...
One day, the moon will make you stronger.
Your blood will boil and your body will rage.
As you are bound to be a savage.

Your blood will boil and your body will rage.
As you are bound to be a savage.
“MAMA!!!”
---
Tristan clutched on his sleeve when pain started to smear all over his body. Full moon was coming. And it means only one thing: he would be transformed into THAT
creature.
"God... Please... Not now..." He pleaded to the thin air around him. "I'm not like my father... I... Am... AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!"
"God... Please... Not now..." He pleaded to the thin air around him. "I'm not like my father... I... Am... AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!"
His screams were loud and heartsicking. But he was all alone and no one would hear him. And he didn't want to be heard either.
In his other form with bright yellow eyes, a pair of wicked fangs, and a twisted face shape, he would always mourn near his mother's grave.
"Why do I grew up to be like Father? I want to be like you. With sparkles
and wings. And I have no one beside me now, Mother. I have no one..."
He cried silently.
A savage.
Crying under the moonlight.
Mourning about the sad fate that the world brought to him.
Tristan didn't even want to think about how pathetic he looked like. He didn't care. He barely even knew what "pathetic" is. Why should he, anyway? He's a loner. A "child" who was left alone trembling by the world around him.
And he had nothing to stand for.

But life is a turning wheel, they said. And it applies for anyone, with no exception.

"Geldoff is here~" chirped Shea as she shook the shoulder of the girl
beside her. "Kimiko, your shift is over."
The so called girl nodded and quickly cleared her belongings to switch shifts with Tristan. "Good afternoon, Geldoff." Kimiko took a little time to greet him before she got out of the library. Shea just smirked at Tristan. He nodded shyly and started his shift right there.

Tristan works at the information center in Cromwell Crescent's Library. He was hoping that one day, he could attend The Engineering School again.
When he stole a little glance at Shea, he could see her still smiling at him. There's no doubt that Shea likes him. She comes to the library almost every day and would talk to Kimiko because she knows that Tristan's shifts are always put after Kimiko's. At least, it was what Tristan heard from other people. But he tried to pay her with less attention than she bargained for. And it wasn't because he's a jerk. Tristan had his own reasons for that.
First, Tristan didn't want anyone to know the truth about how he looks like under the full moon. And second, he knew that Shea would deserve a better man than him. A normal human and not a savage like him.
The thoughts of not being
able to be normal, made him sad all over again. He was distracted. Until a
strange figure entered the library, and headed straight to the information
center where Tristan stood.
"Excuse me... Where do I have to go if I want to search for philosophy
books?" A soft voice asked.
Tristan eyed the figure in front of him, whose face couldn't be seen for it was
hidden behind a black hoodie. But he could tell that the figure was a
"she" from her soft voice. He also spotted a strange mark on her
neck, half hidden by strands of black curls that was left loose on her
shoulder. Her skin was pale too. As if she had no blood running through her
veins at all. And her appearance could only make Tristan even more distracted
than he ever was.
Lucky for him, he knew well about the section of which the strange girl was looking for.
"Philosophy books are located on Section 5 and in the E rows. But that section is a hidden one and would be hard to be found. Do you want me to escort you there, Miss?" Tristan offered awkwardly.
"Oh, that would be a perfect s--- No, I mean, thanks but I will find it by myself." the girl replied almost as awkwardly. Tristan could only watch her go until she was gone behind the tall bookshelves.
Time to go back to work, he then told himself.

Tristan was ready to go back home and take a rest. His day had been an average one and he had to say that he liked it. But before he could exit the information center, one of the fellow library workers, Revan, asked him a favor.
"Geldoff, before you go home, can you check the reading spots between the fifth section? I'm sure I just spotted at least two people in there. We're going to close the entrance door in about ten minutes. They wouldn't want to be trapped in here overnight, right? Please kindly remind them to go home."

Tristan then did as he was told to, and trotted along the aisles to reach the fifth one. But if he was to be honest to Revan, he would tell him that he hates the fifth section. Why?
It's dark, it's hidden, and there were big windows around it which makes it easy for the moon to illuminate it's shine around the room. Tristan hates the moon.
But still, he arrived at the fifth section in less than 2 minutes, and took a
peek. No one was around. When he was going to the B rows, he had to turn on his
flashlight to look around, and again, there was no one. Shivers started to
crawl underneath his skin. But he tried to ignore it. Same things happened at 5C
and 5D rows when he found no one there. Could Revan was only trying to prank
him? Because if yes, Tristan might need to punch him tomorrow.
5E. The last row. Where philosophy and anthropology books are all stored in there. The bookshelves stood tall and created it's own shadow under the half-moon's shine

Tristan gulped. The atmosphere was so silent that he could hear his own
heartbeat. "Is anyone here???" he tried to call out. But his voice
came out as a small whisper. He encouraged himself to walk forward and take a
look at the reading chairs. Without having to squint his eyes, he could already
glimpse a figure, at the end of the corridor.
And it turned out to be the black-hooded girl that he met earlier.
A small amount of relief started to take him over as he approached the girl.
"Miss, I'm sorry, but..." he tried to explain to her.
The black-hooded girl set the book aside, and threw her gaze at him. “Yes?”

Tristan's voice got caught up inside his throat as soon as the girl's eyes
directly met his.
His heart seemed as if it was going to skip every beat and refused to pump any blood and let him think straight.
The girl's appearance looked no less than a divine painting. Her grey eyes has it's own shine and would have put any moonlight to shame. Her gaze was hypnotizing as well. She could take him captive for his entire life with that one glance as it's payment.

"I... Miss... I just want to tell you that..." He finally had at least a hoarse voice to tell her why he came there. But once again, before he could finish the sentence, Revan was calling for his name from 5C which means he was close enough to spot him and the girl together.
"Geldoff? Geldoff! Are you here? Hehehe I’m sorry I just want to tell you
that there is no one here actually. So please just come out and we’ll lock the
entrance door together.”
What?
The next moments passed like a flashing light. But Tristan could swear that he saw the girl's eyes turned red as she forcefully dragged him behind one of the most hidden bookshelves, and seized him right there with her palm closed tight around his mouth. "Stay put, don't move." her teeth clenched. A pair of fangs were clear enough to be seen.
Her right hand was locked around his chest to make him stay as she pleased. Their skins were separated by fabrics of their clothes. But hers, were cold enough to be felt. Cold, strong, shining eyes, and a pair of fangs. Now it was all clear to Tristan.
She's a vampire.
"Geldoff???" Revan was still calling for his name. But there was no way that he could answer that.
The vampire girl listened to the footsteps with her head tilted slightly to the side.
"Tristan Geldoff! This is my last call! I demand you to get out of here now! I am going to lock the entrance door!" Revan started to grew desperate.
"Do it then... I’ll rip your throat out." The vampire girl hissed silently. Tristan struggled to get rid of her grips on him, but she was too strong. He closed his eyes with hopes that he would wake up from a nightmare, but a soft nuzzle on his neck, drove him conscious all over again.
"I like the smell of your blood..." She suddenly murmured. "It's a shame that... Such delicious blood belongs only to werewolves like you."
Tristan shuddered as his reaction. So hard that it almost loosen the vampire girl's grips on him.
"You're strong even in your human form...." She smirked after she tightened her grips again. "If you were in your wolf form, I'm pretty sure that we would be fighting right now. Isn't that what our kinds had always did, Tristan? Vampires and Werewolves will never find peace between them."
Kill me then
Kill me if you want
Do anything as you please
He thought fretfully.
"But that is not what I want to do with you," she answered his thoughts. "I am Countess Rosery Grazielle from Castle Morelock of Penssyve..." the vampire slowly revealed herself in time with the movement of her fingers which were brushing against his lips to set it free.
"I was bethroted to Count Ludwig James from Castle Cravenn, but I don't like him. So I ran away from Penssyve and now I'm here...."
"Tristan..." his name on her lips sounds right and addictive. He could hear it for an eternity.
"I've been searching for you." Rosery declared. "And I want you to be my escape."
